Up and Down Again is a collection of Mr. Incognito’s essays about philosophy and philosophising. The essays are varied in form and orientation, but connected by the author’s persistent struggle to get his central concern across: that philosophy is too severe and too difficult to be pursued in the mood that dominates early 21^st century academic philosophy.
